Purification of metalurgical grade silicon up to Solar Ggrade Silicon

Aurinka is working on a novel process of silicon purification for photovoltaics applications. This process is going to reduce the costs of of Solar silicon and at the end of the whole PV module.
The project consists in the purifications of metallurgical grade silicon (not suitable for PV sector and with a purity of 98%) to achieve a silicon with a purity grade of 99.999% to 99.9999%. In this process different techniques of contaminants and dopants removal are used.
